We've just passed our longest day of the year here in Yukon. Though the really hot weather has been in short supply, the flowers in the garden are in good shape, the lawn has survived, and it's GOLF..GOLF and more GOLF ! Bar-b-ques and sun screen are the order of the day. George and Dee took me halibut fishing in Valdez Alaska with a shopping stopover for Dee in Anchorage. Thanks guys.

We just completed our second trip to Africa recently. Coming from Northern Canada where one expects to see a plethora of wild animals (and we do from time to time), nothing can compare with the wildlife we saw in Kenya and Tanzania. We were able to photograph the "Big Five" and much more ! We found the people very friendly and accomodating. For those who may want to do this type of trip and of course have the finances to do so, I would highly recommend Goway Travel (in Canada) and their African partners ( Vintage Africa and Grometi Tours).
